Actavis Plc ADR (NYSE:ACT) announced yesterday that it has submitted an Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to get marketing approval for Budesonide Extended-release 9mg Tablets, generic version of glucocorticosteroid, which is marketed as Uceris and developed by Santarus, Inc. (NASDAQ:SNTS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Salix Pharmaceutical Inc (NASDAQ:SLXP).
